Refund Policy
This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on the Sourcinq platform (sourcinq.com), operated by LEX RESO LTD (Company Number: 16682470), registered at 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
Please read this Policy carefully before making a purchase. By completing a payment on Sourcinq, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms set out below.
This Policy forms part of our Terms of Service at sourcinq.com/terms-of-service and should be read alongside it.
1. Our Approach to Refunds
Sourcinq provides a digital information service. When you purchase a Subscription or a Query Package, you gain access to an AI-assisted wholesale supplier research platform. Because the service is delivered digitally and processing costs are incurred immediately upon use, our refund policy is structured to reflect the nature of digital service delivery.
We aim to be fair and transparent. We offer a free 7-day trial with no credit card required so that you can evaluate the platform before committing to a paid plan. We strongly encourage all new users to make full use of their trial period before purchasing.
2. Free Trial
The Sourcinq free trial includes:
- 7 calendar days from the date of registration;
- Up to 5 Queries included at no charge;
- No credit card required.
Because the trial is completely free of charge, no payment is taken and no refund is applicable. If you have any questions about the platform before upgrading, please contact us at [email protected] before making a purchase.
3. Subscriptions — Refund Conditions
3.1 Eligibility
A refund on a Subscription payment is available only if both of the following conditions are met simultaneously:
- Condition 1: The refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the date of purchase; AND
- Condition 2: Zero (0) Queries have been used under that Subscription since the date of purchase.
Both conditions must be satisfied. If either condition is not met, no refund will be issued.
3.2 After 7 Days — No Refund
If 7 calendar days have passed since the date of purchase, no refund will be issued under any circumstances, regardless of how many Queries remain unused.
3.3 After Any Query Is Used — No Refund
If even one (1) Query has been submitted and processed under the Subscription — regardless of the result returned — the Subscription is considered used and no refund will be issued, even within the 7-day window.
3.4 Rationale
Subscription access is activated immediately upon payment. From the moment of activation, Sourcinq incurs processing costs and operational overhead to maintain your account, query capacity, and platform access. Once the service has been actively used — as measured by the submission of at least one Query — the service has been delivered.
Sourcinq guarantees that every Query will be processed analytically. We do not guarantee that every Query will return supplier results. A result of "no suppliers found" does not constitute a service failure and does not qualify for a refund. See Section 5 for further details.
4. One-Time Query Packages — Refund Conditions
4.1 Eligibility
A refund on a one-time Query Package is available only if both of the following conditions are met simultaneously:
- Condition 1: The refund request is submitted within 30 calendar days of the date of purchase; AND
- Condition 2: Zero (0) Queries from that specific Package have been used since the date of purchase.
Both conditions must be satisfied. If either condition is not met, no refund will be issued.
4.2 After 30 Days — No Refund
If 30 calendar days have passed since the date of purchase, no refund will be issued regardless of how many Package Queries remain unused.
4.3 After Any Package Query Is Used — No Refund
If even one (1) Query from the Package has been submitted and processed, the Package is considered used and no refund will be issued, even within the 30-day window.
4.4 Package Query Usage Tracking
Query usage is tracked at the account level and is visible in your account dashboard. In the event of a dispute over whether Queries have been used, Sourcinq's internal usage records shall be the authoritative source of truth.
5. What Is Not Refundable
The following are explicitly excluded from refund eligibility under any circumstances:
"No Suppliers Found" results
When a Query returns a result stating that no verified suppliers were identified, the Query is still considered processed and used. Sourcinq performs analytical work — query parsing, brand identification, database lookup, AI processing, and result structuring — for every Query submitted, regardless of the outcome. This work incurs real costs. The absence of a result does not indicate a platform failure; it reflects the limitations of currently available supplier data for that input.
Unused time remaining in a Subscription period
Cancelling a Subscription mid-cycle does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining days in your billing period. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. Refunds for unused time are not available.
Downgrade pricing difference
If you downgrade from a higher-tier plan to a lower-tier plan during a billing cycle, no refund or credit will be issued for the price difference. The downgrade takes effect from the next billing cycle.
Unused Queries remaining in a Subscription at cycle end
Monthly Subscription Query limits reset at the start of each new billing cycle. Unused Queries are forfeited and are not refundable.
Charges on suspended or terminated accounts
Any charges incurred prior to an account suspension or termination for violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy are not eligible for refund.
Subscription renewals
Automatic renewal charges are not refundable unless the refund request is submitted within the 7-day / zero-query window described in Section 3.
6. UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 — Digital Content Waiver
Sourcinq's services constitute digital content within the meaning of the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Under this Act, consumers ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel a contract for digital content before it begins.
However, under the Act, this 14-day cooling-off period does not apply where:
- the consumer has given explicit prior consent to the digital content being delivered before the end of the cancellation period; and
- the consumer has acknowledged that the right to cancel is thereby lost.
By completing a purchase on Sourcinq, you explicitly confirm both of the above at the point of checkout. This confirmation is recorded at the time of payment. Accordingly, the 14-day statutory cooling-off period is waived from the moment of purchase, and this Refund Policy governs your refund rights in its place.
This waiver applies to UK-based consumers. Users in other jurisdictions may have equivalent statutory rights under their local consumer protection laws, which Sourcinq respects to the extent required by applicable law. 7. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you meet the eligibility conditions set out in Section 3 or Section 4, you may submit a refund request as follows:
Step 1 — Submit your request
Go to: sourcinq.com/refund-request
Complete the refund request form by providing:
- your registered email address;
- the date of purchase;
- the product purchased (Subscription plan name or Package name);
- a brief description of your reason for requesting a refund;
- confirmation that zero Queries have been used since the date of purchase.
Step 2 — Review
Sourcinq will review your request within 5 business days of receipt. We will verify your usage data against our internal records. If your usage data confirms that no Queries have been used and the applicable time window has not elapsed, your request will be approved.
Step 3 — Refund processing
If your request is approved, the refund will be:
- processed via Stripe to the original payment method used at the time of purchase;
- initiated within 2 business days of approval notification.
Please note that once the refund is initiated by Sourcinq, the time required for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer. This typically takes 5–10 business days but may vary.
Step 4 — Account status
Upon approval and processing of a refund:
- for Subscriptions: the Subscription is cancelled and access is revoked immediately;
- for Packages: the Package is cancelled and the associated Query credits are removed from your account.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We strongly encourage you to contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks initiated without prior contact with Sourcinq may result in:
- immediate suspension of your account pending investigation;
- permanent termination of your account if the chargeback is found to be unjustified;
- forfeiture of any remaining Query credits.
We are committed to resolving legitimate payment concerns fairly and promptly through direct communication. Most issues can be resolved within 5 business days without the need for a formal dispute process.

9. Exceptional Circumstances
Sourcinq reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue refunds outside the conditions described in this Policy in genuinely exceptional circumstances — for example, in the event of a significant platform outage or technical failure that prevented the Service from being delivered for an extended period. Any such exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and do not constitute a precedent or ongoing obligation.
10. Changes to This Policy
Sourcinq may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Where changes are material, registered users will be notified by email. Purchases made before the effective date of any update remain governed by the Policy in place at the time of purchase.
